The Character Building Society (CBS) is one of the official student societies operating under the Senior Tutor Office of the University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore. It focuses on developing students' moral values, leadership, civic responsibility, patriotism, professionalism, and personality through co-curricular activities beyond academics.

Character building society hosted an insightful seminar RAAZ E BAKA DR SEERAT KHATIM UL AMBIA (SAW) with renown Islamic scholar and motivational speaker Sooban Attari on 17th Septemer,2025.
Character building society on the mission of raising Awareness against Drugs abuse hosted a workshop on Youth training workshop on Drug use prevention_ jointly organized by Anti Drug and Tobacco committee UVAS & Drug Advisory Training Hub (DATH) on 9th October 2025.
Joining hands to eradicate Corruption, Character building society conducted an Anti corruption walk to raise awareness against Corruption on 10th January 2026.
Every week at the tutorial timing Character building society conducts an inspiring session “Awakening Hour” where different students come forward with a topic to shape the society.
CBS x HEC x CREATOR X arranged an essay writing competition on the occasion of the 150th Birth anniversary of Quaid e Azam on 9th April,2026 where 70 + students participated and exhibited their Creative skills ! Top 3 position holders get appreciation shields.
The character building society hosted an insightful seminar on Educating legal rights, Financial stability and cultural identity with speakers from KCWU Lahore on 14th May 2026.
In the summer break of 2025, Students from CBS exhibit their creative skills through information series like KIRDAR E NOOR and SAHABA SERIES.
On 24th October 2024 , CBS conducted an awareness walk to show solidarity with the Kashmiri People.
CBS with the mission to contribute meaningfully to the society started Tree Plantation Drive on the Independence day of 2024.
CBS and Harassment Committee UVAS organized One Day Seminar on Workplace Harassment with honorable guest Barrister Nudrat Bayan Majeed.
CBS hosted an event on “Iqbal aur Ishq e Rasool (SAW)” with guest speaker Dr.Shahzad Mujaddidi founder of Ikhlas Markaz e Tashqeeqa Islami Pakistan.
