UVAS HostelsHostels are conveniently close to most amenities and services, and the location endows with an ideal base from which to explore the rest of Lahore. There are ten separate hostels at city campus, five for boys and six for girls. All the Hostels are equipped with necessary facilities to make the stay of students comfortable. Warden office monitors the Hostels. Boarders are taught to live like an extended family in perfect harmony with all the residents of the campus. There are beautiful grassy lawns in the hostel premises which give a healthy look to the area and also provide a source of inspiration. HostelsMale SectionIQBAL HALL:It is the oldest hall at the campus and can be called the home of pioneer veterinarians. The hall specified for 1st year undergraduate and DVM students. Iqbal Hall has the capacity of 162 students and consists of 29 dormitories, 1 biseater, 12 cubical. JINNAH HALL:This hall is specified for 2nd year of DVM and undergraduate’s student’s. Jinnah hall has the total capacity of about 198 students and comprising of 18 dormatories, 44 biseaters, 3 cubicals. The hall consisted the mess, a TV room and a badminton court. SETH SARWAR HALL:This hall specified for post graduate and MBA students. The hall has the capacity of 96 students and comprised of 48 biseaters with a common room. Resident Tutor: Dr. Hammad Saleem
Tipu Sultan HALL:This hall specified for post graduate and MBA students. The hall has the capacity of 136 students and comprised of 34 four seaters rooms with a common room and TV room. KHADIJA TU KUBRA HALL:This hall is specified for Post Graduate girls with maximum capacity of 180 students. AMNA HALLThis hall is specified for Undergraduate girls with maximum capacity of 170 students. TAHIRA HALLThis hall is specified for undergraduate girls with maximum capacity of 110 students. TAHIRA HALL EXTENSIONThis hall is specified for undergraduate girls evening with maximum capacity of 85 students. FATIMA HALL:This hall is specified for undergraduate girls with maximum capacity of 100 students. FACILITIESMESS FACILITIES:Hostels have separate mess facilities for Males and Females residing students. Both messes facilitate the students at affordable rates. The mess in controlled by Hostel Canteen/Mess Cafeteria committees. The mess committee is responsible to keep a check on food quality, hygiene, menu, prices and other related matters. INTERNET / WIFI:The hostels have an internet facility for all residents of Hostel TV ROOMS:To keep the students updated with national and international affairs the hostel have TV rooms in all halls with LED`s supported by all necessary channels transmission. COMMON ROOM:The hostels have facilities of indoor games like table tennis, carom board, Chess and luddo in common rooms. FRUIT SHOP:The hostels have a juice corner/ Fruit shop for residing students. TUCK SHOPThe hostels have Tuck shop facility for residing students.
MALE BARBER SHOPThe hostels have a male Barber shop facility for male residing students.
FEMALE BEAUTY PARLOURThe hostels have a female Beauty parlor with accessories shop facilities for female residing students. FAST FOOD CORNERThe hostels have a fast food corner facility for residing students.
MOSQUE:A beautiful air conditioned mosque is situated near the main gate of hostel and separate e female pray area.
