The Faculty of Biosciences was established in year 2002. The purpose of this faculty is to showcase, promote and develop the outstanding research, teaching and outreach activities undertaken by staff and students within its constituent departments. Since its inception, the Faculty has grown exponentially in terms of number of offered programs, qualified faculty members, B.S. (Hons.), M.Phil. and Ph.D students and research publications. The Faculty of Biosciences is the University’s most rapidly expanding discipline. Our Faculty is embedded in a very stimulating and interactive research community. The Faculty has following institutes and departments.
We are committed to teach and train students at high quality and at the cutting edges of science. Additionally, Faculty is also offering number of courses for other degree programs offered by different Faculties of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore. The highly qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty members are devoted to the cause of education. We are committed to develop an environment that encourages innovation, improve the sustainability of research and enhance the employment prospects of students.
