Outdoor Hospital 

The Outdoor Hospital, part of the Department of Veterinary Medicine, is located on the City Campus in Lahore. Established in 1882, it is one of the oldest veterinary hospitals in Asia. The Outdoor Hospital serves as a central hub for the education and training of veterinary students, offering comprehensive veterinary services for all livestock needs.
As the nation's only veterinary hospital that operates year-round, the Outdoor Hospital at City Campus provides continuous emergency services. Our commitment is to deliver the highest level of veterinary care to our clients, offering professional and compassionate service while educating the veterinary professionals of the future.

Medicine Teaching Hospital 

The Medicine Teaching Hospital (MTH) is another integral part of the Department of Veterinary Medicine, located in Block-A on the Ravi Campus in Pattoki. MTH offers advanced veterinary practice training to fourth- and fifth-year veterinary students. A large number of sick animals, many with complicated cases, are brought to MTH from neighboring and distant villages. Our dedicated team of experts provides these animals with exceptional care.
MTH is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including routine health services and an intensive care unit for emergencies. Additionally, MTH provides clients with complimentary prescribed medicines.

VETERINARY OUTREACH CENTER 

The Veterinary Outreach Center (VOC), established in 2006 as part of the Department of Veterinary Medicine, is located on the outskirts of Lahore in Sattarwala Village near the Faizpur Motorway Interchange. This purpose-built veterinary center provides essential training for our veterinary students. Since the establishment of the Medicine Teaching Hospital at Ravi Campus, the VOC has functioned as a core training center for livestock farmers and outreach activities for veterinary students.
Veterinary students at VOC regularly organize camping activities focused on deworming, vaccination, and raising awareness among livestock farmers. This hands-on experience is vital for their education and beneficial for the local farming community.

UVAS 24/7 EXTENSION SERVICE

The UVAS 24/7 Extension Service is unique in providing continuous animal health consultations to the farming community. As an integral part of the Department of Veterinary Medicine, this service offers integrated veterinary and animal health services in collaboration with other applied departments of the university, such as livestock management, animal nutrition, and pathology.
Fully equipped with comprehensive animal health facilities, the UVAS 24/7 Extension Service provides innovative treatments for livestock across the country. Additionally, this service offers needs-based training programs for farmers, enhancing their skills and knowledge in animal health management.
We aim to promote a holistic approach to animal health, production, and welfare, emphasizing preventative medicine as the key to maintaining profitable and healthy livestock. However, we also recognize the importance of individual animals and are equally committed to treating a single pet goat or horse as we are to managing a herd of dairy cows.

EQUINE DIAGNOSTIC LABORATORY 

Equine Diagnostic Laboratory (EDL) was established in 2012, and is located in the vicinity of The Lahore Race club. EDL is offering basic and advanced diagnostic facilities to equine owners at Lahore Race Club. EDL is fully equipped latest diagnostic facilities in equine practice.

ANIMAL TRANSPORTATION FACILITY 

UVAS is also providing the inter-city and intra-city animal transportation facility through its ambulatory service for the horses and other animals.
