Department of Veterinary Medicine FVS
Collaborations
The Department collaborates extensively with various Government, Military, and Private Livestock Farms, which generously provide research facilities to our postgraduate students. These partnerships are instrumental in enriching the academic experience and fostering invaluable research opportunities for our scholars. Additionally, several government and private farms actively coordinate with the department to support the research endeavors of our postgraduate students.
Our postgraduate students actively engage in fieldwork, including visits to extension cases facilitated by the UVAS 24/7 Extension Service, as well as nearby villages in Sattarwala. These practical experiences not only contribute to their learning but also enable them to provide essential services to recreational animal owners in the community.
Furthermore, the department has established collaborations with esteemed organizations such as Brooke, WWF, USAID projects, SUNAR (P&D Board, Government of Punjab), as well as various INGOs, NGOs, and other government entities. These partnerships serve as invaluable sources of information and expertise, enriching our students' knowledge and furthering our collective mission of advancing veterinary science and service. Currently, research collaborations are ongoing with the following institutes:
