Biography

Mrs. Rattan Kaur Chawla is a Lecturer in the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition, Faculty of Bio-Sciences, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore–Pakistan since June 01, 2016. She has completed her BSs (Hons) and MSc (Hons) in Human Nutrition from the University of Agriculture, Peshawar-Pakistan. Her research work during her MSc (Hons) was “Formulation and nutritional evaluation of dietary supplements prepared for pregnant women from locally available food ingredients.
She has also worked as a lecturer on contract base for two years in the department of Human Nutrition, The University of Agriculture, Peshawar. She has completed three months internship in all wards at Rehman Medical Institute, Peshawar with report on dietary management of cardiovascular disease patients.  She has also worked as a supervisor and completed two research theses of MSc (Hons) students. She has also supervised internships of six BSc (Hons) students.
She is a Gold medallist at University and Faculty level in her Bsc (Hons) and Gold medallist at Faculty level in MSc (Hons). She has completed 7 days in Service Short Term Training of University Faculty at UVAS, Lahore.
