The College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Jhang organized a Pre- conference workshop under the theme " Challenges to livestock in Pakistan which is scheduled to be held CVAS Jahng Pakistan in March 10th 2023 subject to international conference on health security (ICHS 2023) held at Fallaties hotel Lahore, Pakistan under HEC Academic Collaboration and CPEC Consortium of Universities. The pre-conference workshop focuses on the neglected areas of water management and crises, neglected diseases of livestock and pets, zoonotic diseases, evidence based medicine, climate change and livestock, antimicrobial resistance along with e –commerce and international trade requirements, value addition in meat and dairy products and by products. The conference will provide recommendations on the above mentioned areas and policy initiatives for government line departments for collaborative approach. This conference will help in bridging national government departments and private sector to strength the collaboration at the human animal interface. The worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr Nasim Ahmad appreciated the efforts of the organizers. Prof. Dr Aneeela Zameer and Dr Muhammad Zahid Farooq were the organizers of the event.
