Biography

Mr. Muhammad Adnan Saeed is serving as lecturer in the section of Microbiology, Dept. of Pathobiology, CVAS, Jhang Campus. He completed M.Phil (Microbiology) and DVM degrees from UVAS with flying colors. He started his career as Teaching Assistant at University Diagnostic Lab (UDL), UVAS, where he worked at Molecular & Sero-diagnostic sections and contributed in optimization of diagnostic assays and coordinated training programs. Afterwards he joined National Veterinary Laboratory (NVL), Islamabad, Ministry of National Food Security and Research (MNFSR) Govt. of Pakistan, as “Scientific Officer” where he served in “Disease Diagnosis & Surveillance” section and provided disease diagnosis and outbreak investigation services. He coordinated with national and international organizations for development of “National Action Plan for Antimicrobial Resistance” and implementation framework of Integrated Disease Surveillance & Response (IDSR) in veterinary and public health sectors under One Health approach. He has significant expertise in veterinary diagnostics. In addition, he got working experience in small animal practice. Following induction in UVAS, he is actively involved in teaching and training of undergraduate and postgraduate students, lab management and research activities in the section of Microbiology.
