Biography

Dr. Amar Nasir (HEC approved supervisor for PhD), is Associate Professor of Medicine, in the Department of Clinical Sciences, Jhang Campus (University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Lahore), Pakistan and holds D.V.M., M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees in Clinical Medicine. He worked as Veterinary Officer in the Department of Animal Husbandry (Muzaffarabad), Govt. of Azad Jammu & Kashmir for more than 11 years. He served as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, the University of Poonch, Rawalakot (Azad Kashmir) for 6 months before joining the College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Jhang; on October, 2012. He has conducted significant part of his Ph.D. research at the School of Animal and Veterinary Sciences, Roseworthy campus, The University of Adelaide, S.A., Australia and published 03 peer reviewed papers from that research. 
Dr. Nasir’s fundamental expertise is in the field of Veterinary Diagnostics and Serology particularly Neospora caninum. Besides, other interest areas are; the prevalence, diagnosis and treatment regimens of common diseases in diary animals.  
 Dr. Amar has published 29 peer reviewed research articles, 17 conference proceedings and 
02 National books to his name. He presented research findings at various national and international scientific conferences.
