World Milk Day Celebrations held at CVAS JHANG
World Milk Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm observed on 3rd June at CVAS JHANG under the vision of Worthy Vice-Chancellor, Meritorious Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younus (DLA.SI), Prof. Dr. Aneela Zameer Durrani Dean (FVS), CVAS Dairy Club and under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Iahtasham Khan , Principal, CVAS, Jhang, Dr. Muhammad Zahid Farooq convener CVAS Dairy Clubwith active participation from faculty members including Prof. Dr Syed Aun Muhammelad (Senior tutor), Prof. Dr. Arfan Zaman( Professor), and Prof. Dr. Ehtisham ul Haq. Dr. Yassar Abbas Dr. Mubashar Hassan and Dr Mateen.
A series of engaging activities were organized, including an awareness walk to highlight the importance of milk in nutrition and sustainable dairy farming, followed by an interactive seminar featuring experts who shared insights on dairy industry advancements, milk safety, and innovation.

- Faisalabad Division Imtiaz Hussain 42nd common/CSP delivered a talk on "power of pure dairy products in healthy life of people".
- Dr Ihsan ur Rehman Akbar, additional director livestock jhang, presented on "Use of ADRS technology for disease reporting" .
- Mr. Adnan Haider from Punjab Food presented on "Authority How Punjab Food Authority playing its role for the well being of people ".
- Mr. Adeel shahid from Punjab Food Authority presented on " a detailed report of milk adulteration in Pakistan and different adulterants of milk in Pakistan".
Their insights on cutting-edge dairy practices and sustainable technologies were truly enlightening and sparked dynamic discussions among attendees.The event also included an oath-taking ceremony of the newly appointed cabinet, reaffirming their commitment to promoting dairy education, research, and community outreach. The celebrations emphasized the vital role of milk in global food security and healthy living, inspiring participants to advocate for a sustainable dairy future.
The highlight was the milk drinking competition, where participants raced to finish bottles of fresh milk, with Awais Raza from 2nd semester DVM emerging as the champion.
An engaging quiz competition tested dairy knowledge, with prizes awarded to top performers.
To conclude, milk bottles were distributed to all attendees, reinforcing the message of milk's importance for health and nutrition.
