Biography

Dr. Mahroze Fatima is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture since 26th April, 2018. She completed her M.Sc., M.Phil. and Ph.D. degree in Zoology from University of Agriculture, Faisalabad. Her major areas of interest are Fish Nutrition and Fish Quality. She is the convenor of QIRTAS Art and Literary Society of UVAS, Ravi Campus.  She is a member of Real-Time Online Examination Policy of UVAS. She has received 3rd Prof. Dr. Muhammad Afzal Gold Medal by Applied Zoological Society of Pakistan (AZSP) due to her achievements in Fish Nutrition. She was a distinction holder student at UAF and completed her PhD degree in a duration of 6 semesters, for which the Vice- Chancellor UAF issued her a letter of appreciation, which is an acknowledgement of her commitment, dedication and constant efforts. Moreover, she is among the youngest PhD scholars produced by University of Agriculture, Faisalabad. Before joining UVAS, she worked as an assistant professor (IPFP) in the Department of Zoology, Govt. College Women University Faisalabad, where she won two research projects. During her PhD, she also worked as Teaching Assistant and Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Zoology, Wildlife and Fisheries, University of Agriculture Faisalabad.
