Biography

Dr. Ali Hussain completed his Ph.D. in Zoology from Department of Zoology, University of the Punjab, Lahore-Pakistan in 2010. His field of specialization is Environmental Microbiology. In his Ph.D. research, he isolated and employed sulphate-reducing bacteria for the remediation of metals- and sulphate-rich wastewaters. He joined the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Ravi Campus, Pattoki-Pakistan as an Assistant Professor (IPFP) in October, 2014. He is currently working in various aspects of Aquaculture Microbiology and Biotechnology on the same post.
