National/International participation in policy making to end poverty

  • Following two projects hosted by the department of Anatomy and Histology are aimed at producing high quality protein (beef and broiler) with low investment. The outcomes of the project will help the farmers produce good quality protein with low financial investment which ultimately lowers the impact of poverty on society. Adopting the protocols prescribed as outcomes of the projects will help community getting high quality protein with affordability which will not only improve the overall health of the community but will also motivate people to start investing in beef and broiler industry with low investments and getting high returns hence, alleviating poverty in the society.
  • Evaluation of selenium loaded MOS or Chitosan nanoparticles for enhanced meat quality and skeletal development of broiler raised at high stocking density
  • Comparison of carcass, meat quality and consumer preferences influenced by dietary moss on steers (Bos Indicus) and buffalo bulls.
