BIOGRAPHY:

Dr. Khizar Hayat joined the Department of Anatomy and Histology (UVAS) in May 2019 and is currently serving as a Lecturer in the afore mentioned department. Earlier, he worked as a Visiting Lecturer in Department of Anatomy, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad for almost 1.5 year (Oct 2016 – December 2017) and as a Lecturer in Department of Basic Sciences, Riphah College of Veterinary Sciences, Lahore for almost 1.5 years (Feb 2018 – May 2019).
He completed his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree in 2016 did his MPhil in the Department of Anatomy in 2018 at University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan. He is also a Registered Veterinary Medical Practitioner (RVMP) and a Registered Veterinary Medical Faculty (RVMF) from Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council (PVMC).
Till date, he has co-authored 06 publications in reputable International Scientific Journals.

RESEARCH INTERESTS:

Photoperiodism, Neuroendocrinology, Avian Behavioral Modulation, Equine Gait Mechanics and Kinematics.

AWARDS/ DISTINCTIONS:

  1. 1st position in MPhil (Medalist) from UAF, Pakistan.
  2. Merit Scholarship Holder from PEEF 2011-16.
  3. Internal Merit Scholarship Holder in University of Agriculture, Faisalabad 2011.
  4. Internal Merit Scholarship Holder in Higher Secondary School, Pindi Gheb.
  5. Awarded with 1st position in Urdu Essay writing competitions in Tehsil and District Levels in consecutive two years.
  6. Awarded with Quaid-e-Azam badge in boy scouting (Highest badge for a Boy Scout).
  7. Won the Chief Commissioner Award in Boy Scouting (Highest Award for a Boy Scout).
