Mission |
To encourage and assist fresh graduates to pursue higher education by taking pastoral care of them; helping them to complete their studies in a timely fashion and to assist the faculty in conducting quality research. |
Objectives |
- Preparation of revised curricula/syllabi, their approval and implementation from various statutory bodies.
- Approval of rules (Terms of References) for the conduct of Business of the ASRB.
- Approval of relevant qualification required for admission to Postgraduate Degree Programmes (Determination of Relevance).
- Admission policy for M.Phil. and Ph.D. degree program.
- Publication of compendium, containing revised course contents of curricula to be taught to Postgraduate classes.
- Implimentation HEC Minimum Quality Criteria for the M.Phil. / Ph.D. level studies has been implemented.
Curriculum Development for post-graduate classes.
- Organization of admission process for the admission to M.Phil. and Ph.D. degree programme.
- To enhance postgraduate enrolments and facilitating timely completion of degrees.
- To promote a culture of research.
- To promote quality higher education and research
- Office automation/computerization of record of admissions, enrolments, progress of students, theses, research projects, etc.
- Close coordination with Deans of Faculties and Chairmen of the Departments for improving the existing teaching and research facilities.
