Institute of Microbiology

Research Projects

The Institute of Microbiology boasts a long history of research and academic excellence. Our commitment to high-level research and academics is evident through the number of PhD students and publications in prestigious international journals. Our researchers and faculty conduct innovative research to address challenges in various industries, including poultry, livestock, biopharmaceuticals, pharmaceuticals, aquaculture, equine, dairy farming, milk processing, and export/import sectors. Every postgraduate research scholar at our institute is dedicated to solving real-world problems faced by these industries and farmers. To alleviate the financial burden on our students, each PhD faculty member secures at least one research grant annually on a competitive basis from national funding agencies. These grants support postgraduate scholars in conducting research projects essential for their degree programs. Below is a list of notable grants awarded and the corresponding research projects .Join us at the Institute of Microbiology to contribute to impactful research and advance your academic career.
