Biography
Mr Tabish Ali, is a lecturer in Pharmaceutical sciences at Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (IPS), University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore, Pakistan. He holds Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D) and Masters of Philosophy (M. Phil) degree in Pharmacology from University of the Punjab (PU) in 2013. His M.Phil research included study of bioavilability of anticancer drug (Mercaptopurine), its effect on the serum concentration of allopurinol and febuxostat.
He had spent most of his time in academics & research as he continuously remained in touch with educational institutions in different capacities. He had also been gaining experience in the field of community pharmacy, drug testing & analysis by working in Pharmaceutical Industry.
He started his career as a community pharmacist & soon joined Highnoon Laboratories, Lahore in the research & development department where he was involved in testing & analysis of drugs. Latter he joined faculty of Pharmacy, Hajvery University where he taught Physiology & Pharmacology to the undergraduate and post graduate students. He has also supervised number of research projects of students of Pharmacology.
Presently, He is serving as lecturer in IPS since July, 2014. Ever since he has been actively involved in teaching pharmacy students to align their theory and practical skills with the international trends in practice, knowledge, research & development in his subject. He is skillful in conducting research in Pharmacology & Clinical pharmacy. He has also attended various Trainings and seminars to strengthen his intellectual ability.
