Biography

He has more than three years of working experience as a pharmacist in two major renowned hospitals in Lahore, Pakistan. He started his carrier as a Hospital Pharmacist in Combined Military Hospital Lahore after completing degree of Doctor of Pharmacy from Hajvery University in year 2011, later M.Zeeshan moved to Bahria International Hospital Lahore to work as a Pharmacist overlooking hospital pharmacy operations and clinical pharmacy services provided in Bahria International Hospital. This provided him an opportunity of getting practical experience of aspects related to clinical and hospital pharmacy services provided by the pharmacist.

His teaching carrier started after completion of Master’s in Clinical Pharmacy from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Malaysia, as a Lecturer of Clinical Pharmacy in Islam College of Pharmacy, Sialkot Pakistan (Islam Medical and Dental College) affiliated with University of Sargodha, Pakistan. He joined Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore Pakistan on April, 2018 and working under guidance of Dr.Tahir Mehmood Khan as a lecturer of Clinical Pharmacy.  

His basic area of research as per his project in Master’s program is Tuberculosis. He conducted a study project under the supervision of Dr.Amer Hayat Khan (Lecturer of Clinical Pharmacy in USM, Malaysia) to determine treatment outcomes of Anti-Tuberculosis Therapy among Illicit Drug Abusers in Penang, Malaysia. In addition to that based on his intensive learning/Clerkships in Penang’s biggest Hospital during Master’s in Clinical Pharmacy, he has a good understanding of evidence based Pharmacotherapy recommendations, Drug related problems, Medication errors, Patient assessment, clinically significant Lab data interpretation, Therapeutic Drug Monitoring, Drug induced diseases, Rational drug use and prescribing, ward pharmacy services, Pharmaceutical Care, Dose adjustment considerations ,ADR/Drug Toxic effects management, Inter-professional communication and collaboration requirements  and relevant clinical skills.
