Welcome to Career Services Office at University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Lahore. Our centre along with the alumni, aims to bridge the gap between job market and University graduates. We are committed to provide assistance and guidance to our students in their efforts to find employment and internship. We not only provides information for employment to students and alumni’s but also equips our graduates with prerequisite of the jobs through Career Counseling, Interviewing Tactics, Job Search Skills by conducting Lectures, Seminars, Training Programs and Workshops for skill development.

We liaise with local, national and multinational companies, creating a business network to proffer employment and internship opportunities to UVAS students and alumni. Through a series of activities and events, UVAS students and companies are brought together with the aim of a mutually valuable alliance, ensuring that the university’s talent is employed by the market leaders in their future endeavors. The annual Educational-Industrial Exhibition & Job Fair is the essence of our team’s efforts in improving student and employer networking.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Office of Career Services is to support students in their career decisions to become distinct, high achiever and well renowned in industry by assisting students through career counseling, workshops and support services that have been designed to work to their advantage as they seek employment upon graduation. This office is also responsible for reaching out to potential employers, alumni and graduate/ post-graduate programs to increase opportunities for students. The Career Center forges suitable partnerships with the University community, alumni as well as employers and educational institutions, to support industry intellectual Human resources.

Vision Statement

To create opportunities to reconnect, maintain and establish relationships with UVAS alumni, and to provide support for campus community and to increase awareness of UVAS and enhance the university image for students’ placements and internships through integrated and strategic communications to develop & strengthen industry linkages.

The work of Career service includes:

  • Alumni Events and annual Re-union
  • Alumni Association Membership Development and Connections
  • Alumni Web Site & Online Community Content Management
  • Data management of Alumni for university, student endowment, scholarships and funds
  • Data management of the industry for the placement and internships for the UVAS community and students.
  • To initiate and establish “Skill Development Program (SDP)” for UVAS students, to make them differentiate and top achievers in their respective field.
  • Arrange and conduct annual job fair event
