51th Dairy Club Meeting has been organized by Alltech Pakistan on Friday 29th April 2016 in conference hall UVAS Lahore. Feedlot fattening by Fauji Meat Limited Pakistan was the topic of discussion & presented by the head of animals sourcing – Fauji Meat Limited, Lt Col. Mukhtar Ahmed (Retd.) an ex-army officer belonging to Corp of Infantry. Dr Shahzad Naveed Jadoon (Regional Business Development – Pakistan GCC, KSA, UAE) also honored us with his valuable presence.

Dr Hafiz Asad & Dr Zafar Ullah Khan (National Sales Manager – Dairy) has arranged this dairy meeting & invited dairy club members from industry, academics & commercial organization. There was a great response from industry & more than 50 persons attend the session.

Dr Asad opened the session with recitation of Holy Quran & He warmly welcome the honorable speaker with his brief introduction on feedlot fattening model by fauji model Pakistan.

Lt Col. Mukhtar Ahmed took the stage & attracted the audience with his great model. He discussed on types of fattening systems in Pakistan. he also compared his feedlot fattening model with the existing model.

Along with the differential points he also described the reasons for the failure of such types of projects in Pakistan. he explained his Fauji meat model & announced that FML is giving 10,000 incentive on each animal & once it will be purchased by FML they will deduct this amount.

There were some dairy farmers & feedlot fattening farmers over there. Questions raised on the actual profitability of this model & how we can buy good animals from the cattle markets? Col. Mukhtar narrated well on the performance & profitability of the model.

Farmer's embraced this model & showed their keen interest to invest in this model in future.

He assured that Alltech will keep continuing this pace of arranging dairy club activities in future as well. Session was concluded with best wishes from audience & refreshment was served to the farmers & honorable guests.
