We can not say that environmentally controlled shed are responsible for success or failures of te dairy farms. It is in fact the combination of genetics housing, feeding and managemental practices which defines the success of dairy enterprise.

Dr. Adnan, SMEDA:
Environmentally controlled sheds have been proven in US as well as in Pakistan to give elite genetics a comfortable housing to support high production and performance. We should not take risk in rearing the US genetics in ordinary open sheds conditions which has already wasted a lot of money and investors got disappointed.

Dr. Asad Ullah Khan, Dada Dairy:
For practicing Embryo Transfer technology in elite Holstein animals, what factors we should consider to get maximum performance?

Dr. Faisal:
We need to provide the animals a comfortable housing, feeding according to their requirements and right health measures.

We need to target the growth of the sector, benefit of the humanity and country then think on personal or business benefits. This is how we can get maximum benefit out of modern technology. We have to give priority to our national benefit first.
