1. The Principal CVAS Narowal, Meritorious Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younus has won new research project regarding the development of Lateral Flow Immunochromatographic Test Kit to detect FMD virus from the funding agency, PARB, Lahore, Pakistan of worth Rs: 11.23 million PKR.
2. Research Project entitled “Treatment of Abattoir sludge for the control of parasitic infection and efficient usage as organic fertilizer” Awarded to Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Rizwan, Assistant Professor in the department of parasitology by Pakistan Science Foundation.
3. Research project of worth Rs: 1 million has also been awarded to Dr. Beenish Zahid in which she will utilise herbal plants to see its antiviral and antibacterial effects under the umbrella of ORIC, UVAS Lahore.

The Principal CVAS Narowal, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younus completed the NRPU research project entitled ‘Molecular epidemiology and pathogenesis of Hydatidosis (Echinococcosis) in livestock and human population of northern Punjab’ which was funded by the HEC, Pakistan with a total cost of 8.6 million PKR

The Principal CVAS Narowal, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younus completed the NRPU research project entitled ‘Monitoring, Prevalence and pathogenesis of persistent infection of bovine viral diarrhea (BVD) in dairy herds of northern Punjab’ which was funded by the HEC, Pakistan with a total cost of 4.6 million PKR.
