Biography

Hafiz Manzoor Ahmad has joined the Department of Clinical Sciences in the discipline of Clinical Medicine and Surgeryat KBCMA College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (CVAS), Narowal (Sub-campus of UVAS, Lahore) as Lecturer (BPS) in Nov, 2017.He secured his DVM in 2013 from PMAS Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi and M.Phil in Subject of Veterinary Surgery (UVAS). He is interested in Anaesthesiology of birds and his research during MPhil was on Sedative and Analgesic Effects of Xylazine, Ketamine and Diazepam in Ducks . He has specialities in large and small animal soft tissue surgery, Medical Disease Diagnostics(Radiology), Anaesthesia and Pain management.He is registered member of Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council (PVMC). His major responsibilities include teaching of Veterinary surgerycourses, handling of clinical casesat outdoor hospitaland Extension Services.

Area of Interest

  1. New Trends of Anesthesia in Birds.
  2. Pain management and introduction of its new trends in small and large animals.
  3. Small Ruminanat surgery.
