                      | Applications are invited from  Pakistani Nationals who are not married to a foreign national to make  appointment of Treasurer (BS-20) on contract basis for a tenure of three  (03) years. Applicants are required to apply online in  the University job portal www.uvas.edu.pk/jobs. Last date to submit online applications is 29-08-2025 (Friday). Applications other than online shall not be accepted. Printed  /duly filled in application form along-with all credentials (05 Five Sets)  must reach to the office of the Registrar within due date as prescribed in the  instructions. Those who have already submitted their applications  against an advertisement published by the University with 11-04-2025 as last date of submission of application, need not to apply again.  Minimum Qualification for  Appointment: 
                           Ph.D.  in Finance or Commerce or Accounting or Auditing or Economics from a University  or Degree Awarding Institute duly recognized by HEC; and Eight  years post qualification experience of BPS‑17 & above or equivalent in  relevant field. OR 
                           MS or  M.Phil. in Finance or Commerce or Accounting or Auditing or Economics equivalent  18 years education in the field of Accounts & Audit from a University or  Degree Awarding Institute duly recognized by HEC; and Ten  years post qualification experience of BPS‑17 & above or equivalent  experience in relevant field. OR 
                           MBA  (Finance) or M.Com or ACCA or ACMA or M.Sc. (Economics) or equivalent 16 years  education at least in 2nd division from a University or Degree  Awarding Institute duly recognized by HEC; and 12  years post qualification experience of BPS‑17 & above or equivalent  experience in relevant field. Age Limit: 35 to 50 years Perks  and Privileges: As admissible to Government Servant in BS‑20 Tenure: 03 years (Not Extendable).               
                           Fill in  the online application form carefully as no editing will be allowed  after Final Submission. The applicants shall generate challan and deposit fee  through ONLINE BANK CHALLAN in any branch of Bank Alfalah Ltd. in Pakistan.  They are required to attach Original Paid Bank Receipt of Rs. 5000/- (non-refundable) with application. However, Special Persons are exempted from  fee.  The onus/responsibility of  correctness of the data given in the on-line application will rest absolutely on the candidate. In case a Candidate is Government Servant,  Departmental Permission Certificate/ NOC issued by the Competent Authority of  the concerned Department is required to be produced along with hard copy of  application form.  If the candidate who has  applied after taking NOC from his parent department/ Institution/ University  and got selected in any other department/ Institution/ University during the  process of selection, he/she would be required to send immediately an NOC from  the new employer, failing which the application will be rejected ab-initio.  The experience as part time, honorary/  self-employed and apprentice/ internee will not be considered/ counted as  experience. Candidates are advised to  read all terms and conditions and instructions of the Advertisement carefully  in order to submit their online applications complete in all respects.  The University reserves the right to withhold the  appointment without assigning any reason. Candidates should fill the  On-line Form carefully in the light of the Guidelines and Instructions  mentioned in the Advertisement for the said post.  In case any information provided by the Candidate  in his/her application form is found to be incorrect or false at any stage,  he/she will be disqualified and action will be taken under the Rules. The candidates should  submit their personal valid E-mail address and personal Mobile number at the  time of submission of their online application. All the correspondence shall be  made by email.  The Treasurer shall be a  whole time officer of the University and shall be appointed by the Chancellor  on such term and condition as the Chancellor determine. He shall:  Manage the property, the  finances and the investments of the University;  Prepare the annual and  revised budget estimates of the University and present them to the Finance and  Planning Committee and the Syndicate;  Ensure that the funds of  the University are expended on the purposes for which they are provided; and  Perform such other duties  as may be prescribed.  The leave will be admissible as per contract appointment  policy 2004. The committee shall strict to the evaluation  criteria regarding selection of the panel for appointment of Treasurer notified  by the Government of the Punjab, Livestock & Dairy Development Department  vide No.SO(E-III)/L&DD/3-3/2019(A) dated 19th February, 2025.  Candidate(s) scoring less than 40% marks in  interview will not be recommended for appointment. Marks of interview, to be given by the Members of  the Search Committee, shall calculated by averaging the marks awarded by all  members. Moreover, the applicants shall submit signed  hardcopy/printout of the same pre-filled online application/form alongwith  attested copies of their credentials (five 05 set of applications) completed in all respects to the  Registrar’s Office, University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Lahore by  post / courier services upto 02-09-2025 (Tuesday).
