Online applications are invited from the eligible/suitable candidates on plain paper with attested copies of testimonials, experience certificate with specific dates and transcripts for the position of a Research Associate on purely contract basis the selected candidate will be paid Rs. 15,000/-pm fixed but if he/she is enrolled in M.Phil and Ph.D program, he/she will be paid Rs. 20,000/-pm and Rs. 25,000/-pm fixed in the Research Project titled “Surveillance and Pathobiological Investigations Against Contagious Ecthyma Virus” in the Department of Pathology, UVAS, Lahore for the period of three year extendable to another year of the project with the following qualification as well as terms and conditions:
Qualification:
- First class M.Phil. Degree after 18 years of education (minimum) in subject of Microbiology, Pathology or Biotechnology with no 3rd division in the academic career from an HEC recognized University /Institution.
- The candidates having hands on experience on following techniques will be preferred:
- Viral isolation, culturing and antigenic extraction
- Previous experience of viral adaptation on cell lines
- Previous working experience safety and efficacy trails
- The candidates are required to possess M.Sc (Hons) M.Phil degree with at least two first divisions (one in M.Sc / B.Sc. (Hons)and no third division in the academic career.
- Experience of post M.Sc / B.Sc (Hons) research in the relevant field will be given preference.
