HABITAT:
- Cultivated as an ornamental plant in Sindh and Multan
DESCRIPTION:
- Stem a very large climber with stout & white tomentose
- Leaves are cordate, acute, glamorous about 18-30cm long
- Flowers are rose purple and glabrous present in subcapitate cymes
- Peduncles long, stout, white-tomentose, bracts large ovate-lanceolate
- Pedicels short, white tomentose
- Sepals ovate to broadly ovate
- Fruit 2 cm long subgloboseapiculate
- Seed dark to light brown, glabrous

- Leaves: Maturative, Absorptive, Rubefacient Antiphlogistic.
- Seeds: Diuretic, Aphbnrodisiac, Sedative
Therapeutic uses:
- Roots: used in rheumatism, disease of nervous system, synovitis and syphilis
- Leaves: as emollient poultices for wounds and in skin diseases
- Seeds: powdered seeds are used in diseases of the urinary tract. Hypotensive and spasmolytic activity
