- Widely cultivated throughout the plains of Pakistan
DESCRIPTION:
- It is a biennial or perennial herb with erect branched stern
- Leaves 2-4 pinnate with narrow, linear on subulate segments.
- 15-20 rayed large umbels of yellow flowers
- Fruits greenish brown about 0.5 cm long with prominent ridges.

- Fennels are a market-garden cold whether crop sown in October.
