Biography  

Dr. Rehan is working as an  Associate Professor (Tenured) in the Department of Wildlife and Ecology, University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan.  He did his DVM from University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore Pakistan. Later he completed his M. Phil. in Wildlife and Ecology from the same university. He won HEC MS leading to PhD Scholarship and completed his PhD from Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. During his PhD he won Erasmus Scholarship and completed an Erasmus+ mobility at University of Granada, Spain. He worked at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO)at the Regional Office of the Asia and Pacific (Bangkok, Thailand) and co-authored a book about the drivers of forest changes in the Greater Mekong Sub-Region (GMS). He also worked as a consultant with AIT Solutions (A research and business center of AIT) on a UNDP project, and as a visiting lecturer at the Mahidol University International College (MUIC), Thailand. His research work is related to wildlife ecology, statistical modelling, wildlife behavior, forestry, and wildlife crimes. He is trained in modern wildlife modeling techniques using R statistical software. He is also a wildlife photographer.
