Biography

Dr. Saeed Ahmed (HEC approved supervisor for PhD), is Associate Professor, Department of Animal Nutrition, University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences,Ravi campus Pattoki, Pakistan and DVM,M.Sc (Hon.)Animal Nutrition, PhD Animal Nutrition. He published 30 research papers in impact factor journals. His fundamental expertise is in the field of Animal nutrition especially ruminant nutrition. Besides other, interest area was preparation and sale of UVAS mineral mixtures to the livestock farmers all over the country. He presented his research findings in Asian Buffalo congress Istanbul. He has produced 30 MPhil students under his supervision and one PhD scholar. Currently he is supervising 3 MPhil and 2 PhD students. He is member of various professional bodies including Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council, Nutritionists association of Pakistan. He is also working with National Testing Services (Animal Nutrition subject) Islamabad. He is also working with Punjab Livestock and Dairy Development Department in technical committee regarding procurement of raw material for preparation of Animal wanda, Anmol mineral mixture, Anmol urea molasses blocks for last two years. He also delivered lectures to the undergraduate and post graduate students in Afyon Kocatepe university Turkey under faculty Mavlana exchange programme.He has  Worked as master trainer program for MPhil/PhD supervisor in UVAS.
