Applications are invited from the eligible/suitable candidates on plain paper for different posts on purely contract basis at consolidated salary package mentioned against each post in the IDRC (International Development Research Centre), Canada funded research project entitled “Development and commercialization of antibiotic alternatives: phages and nutraceuticals for Pakistan poultry production" with the following qualification and preferable experience:

Postdoctoral Fellow

PhD in Animal Nutrition/ Chemistry/ Pharmacy/ Food Sciences from HEC recognized institute with no 3rd division in the entire education career.
The candidate should have demonstrated experience of working with LC-MS and other chromatographic equipments.
Candidate with expertise of extraction, isolation and characterization of phytochemicals / nutraceuticals from agro-industrial wastes will be preferred.
Duration: 30 months         Salary Package: Rs. 130,000 per month with Rs. 15,000 annual increment

Research Associate-1

MS / MPhil in Animal Nutrition / Chemistry/ Pharmacy / Food Sciences from HEC recognized institute with no 3rd division in the entire education career.
The candidate should have working experience of LC-MS and other chromatographic equipments.
Candidate with expertise of extraction, isolation and characterization of phytochemicals / nutraceuticals from agro-industrial wastes will be preferred.
Duration:30 monthsSalary Package: Rs. 50,000 per month with Rs. 5,000 annual increment

Research Associate-2

MS / MPhil in Poultry Production/ Pathology/ Microbiology from HEC recognized Institute with no 3rd division in the entire education career.
The Candidate should have demonstrated experience of working with isolation of bacterial strains from poultry facilities and conduct of poultry research trials.
Candidate with expertise of development of bacteriophages and / or nutraceuticals for poultry will be preferred.
Duration: 24 monthsSalary Package: Rs. 50,000 per month with Rs. 5,000 annual increment

Research Assistant-1

DVM / BS / B.Sc. (Hons) in Animal Sciences / Chemistry / Pharmacy / Food Sciences / Applied Microbiology from HEC recognized Institute with no 3rd division in the entire education career.
Candidate with expertise of evaluation of antimicrobial activity and cytotoxicity studies of bacteriophages and / or nutraceuticals for poultry will be preferred.
Duration: 30 months      Salary Package: Rs. 30,000 per month with Rs. 3,000 annual increment

Research Assistant-2

DVM / BS / B.Sc. (Hons) Poultry Science/ Animal Sciences / Applied Microbiology from HEC recognized institute with no 3rd division in the entire education career.
Candidate with expertise of poultry farm management and conduct of poultry research trials will be preferred.
Duration: 24 monthsSalary Package: Rs. 30,000 per month with Rs. 3,000 annual increment

Laboratory Assistant

F. Sc. (Pre-Med)/ Livestock Assistant Diploma / Poultry Assistant Diploma / Laboratory Assistant Diploma from a recognized institute with no 3rd division in the entire education career.
The Candidate should have experience of working in analytical laboratory.
Duration: 30 months      Salary Package: Rs. 24,000 per month with Rs. 3,000 annual increment
