Director’s Message

CAPRIL is committed to developing a prosperous and vibrant Livestock sector in Pakistan in line with the international performance standards through effective policies and institutional reforms, resulting from evidence-based applied research and advocacy. CAPRIL seeks to facilitate policy makers in developing and implementing effective policies and institutional reforms to enhance growth, productivity, competitiveness and exports in the livestock and dairy sectors of Pakistan. It aspires to serve as a link between sector stakeholders and policy makers by ensuring that input from farmers, academia, researchers, investors, private industry, and sector associations are reflected in policy formulation.

UVAS Business School has two research centers; Center for Applied Policy Research in Livestock (CAPRIL) and Export Facilitation Center for Livestock and Poultry Industry (EFCLP).

CAPRIL is committed to developing a prosperous and vibrant Livestock sector in Pakistan in line with the international performance standards through effective policies and institutional reforms, resulting from evidence-based applied research and advocacy.

EFCLP is committed to identify the export opportunities in global markets regarding livestock and its products through providing feasibility studies and to make aware the livestock industrialists regarding export modalities and requirements in terms of quality of product and international certifications.
