Muhammad Ilyas Naveed is a young lecturer in the Department of Clinical Sciences since January 2018. He graduated in veterinary medicine (DVM) in 2011 and received his M.Phil degree in the discipline of Theriogenology in 2013 from University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore. His work during M. Phil was on “Effect of Equine Chorionic Gonadotropin (eCG) on the Follicular Dynamics, Estrus Expression, Ovulation and Pregnancy Rates in Control Internal Drug Release (CIDR) Based Synchronization Protocol in Nili Ravi Buffalo”. He has the specialties in reproductive ultrasonography, cryopreservation of semen and advance breeding programs in domestic animals. He also has work experience of Research Assistant in ALP/PARC funded project on “Improving reproductive efficiency of Sahiwal and Cholistani cows through estrus synchronization and timed artificial insemination (Punjab component)” at the Department of Theriogenology UVAS, Lahore. Where He got unique experience to write and run research projects of national and international standard. He also worked as reproduction consultant at different commercial dairy farms and has a sound clinical field experience.
