LAHORE (05-03-24): The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore arranges scientific model, photography & videography and green innovation competitions under the supervision of UVAS Senior Tutor Office in connection with Spring Festival 2024 at City Campus on Tuesday.
In scientific model competition, Ali Haider team (Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences) won 1st position, Noor-ul-Saba Team (Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences) got 2nd while Mariam Afzal team (Institute of Biochemistry and Biotechnology) & Huda Zafar team (Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences) both stood on 3rd position.
In photography competition, Azwar (Micro) won 1st position, Abdullah Kamran (DVM) got 2nd while Ahmad Zahoor (Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences) stood on 3rd position.
In videography competition, Asad & Hammad (Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences) won 1st positions, Hamza & Awais (Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences) got 2nd while Hammad Saeed from (DVM) stood on 3rd position.
In green innovation competition, Tayyaba team (Environmental Sciences) won 1st position, Jawad (Environmental Sciences) team got 2nd while Momina & Mahrukh teams both stood on 3rd positions.
Prof Dr Muhammad Mansha from University of Education and Dr Mohsin Ahmad Khan from Punjab University were the chief guests of scientific model contest while Asad Ghafoor and Aun Abbas were the chief guest of photography & videography contests on the occasion and gave away shields to contest winners while Registrar Sajjad Hyder, Senior Tutor Prof Dr Ali Raza Awan, Dr Muhammad Oneeb and number of students were present in the ceremony. Students from various departments participated in these competitions.
