Vets Care Club in collaboration with Todd’s Welfare Society, held a 2 day training workshop for demonstrating spay surgery to veterinary students. This two day event of Spay Surgery demonstration was a part of Project SNIP-100 by TWS which is Pakistan’s biggest TNVR project for community cats. The surgeries were demonstrated by Dr. Asfand Yar Ahmad. Apart from the demonstrations of Spay surgeries, the students also learned the Techniques of Taking body temperature, CRT and prevention of ticks in dogs and cats.

The 2 day “Animal Health Mentoring Framework Workshop” arranged by Vets Care Club in collaboration with Brooke Pakistan, was successfully carried out. Dr. Muhammad Javaid Khan, Animal Health Care Manager at Brooke, headed the 2 day workshop and shed light on the knowledge and important skills required to assure good animal health including good welfare, proper handling and restraint, basic needs, pain recognition, basic clinical examination, treatment protocols and various other essential skills that a clinician must have the knowledge of while dealing with equines.

Vets care club, a non government organization working for the welfare of animals and for the uplift of Veterinary Profession in Pakistan turned 20 years old and to celebrate its Vicennial Commemoration, Vets Care Club organized a grand event. The event also covered the oath taking ceremony of the newly formed cabinet.

Vets Care Club organized a UGRAD Guidance Session for the young vets. In this session Vets Care Club invited the fresh UGRAD students. The session was held in the amphitheater. Each speaker shared their experiences and guided the young veterinary students towards better chances of excellence.

Vets care club in association with NAWAN laboratories and Selmore Pharmaceuticals organized a grand event to celebrate the World Veterinary Day. Firstly there was a poster competition on the theme Strengthening Veterinary Resilience.
