The Still and Film Society Lahore has successfully conducted following event during 1st July 2021 to 30 June 2022.

  • The Still & Film Society organized online photography and short film competition during the “1 st Virtual Spring Festival” which was a great step forward in the time of COVID-19 Pandemic.
  • The Still & Film Society organized “Orientation Drive” for recruiting new members to the society.
  • The Still & Film Society arranged a “Photo Booth” platform and took photos of the new graduates during the Annual Convocation of University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences Lahore.
  • The Still & Film Society did Event Coverage collaboration with the Vets Crescent Society UVAS for their Oath Taking Ceremony & Annual Dinner on 8th April 2022.
  • The Still & Film Society did Event Coverage collaboration with the UVAS Debating Society for the All Pakistan Declamation & Parliamentary Debating Championship on 14th to 17th May 2022.
  • The Still & Film Society did Event Coverage collaboration with Qirtas for the 5th UVAS Literary Festival on 1 st & 2nd June 2022.
  • The Still & Film Society did Event Coverage collaboration with the Senior Tutor Office for Online Spring Festival Closing Ceremony on 6th July 2022.
  • The Still & Film Society did Event Coverage collaboration with Vets Care Club on 1st August 2022. This was the brief description of all the involving, videos and events organized by The Still and Film Society Lahore from July 2021 to June 2022. We believe in quality and work very hard to bring out the best colors of this prestigious institute. We have planned various events for this year as well so that we can take part in the flourishing of this university as well as presenting the talent it hold on National and International grounds.

The International Conference on Zoonosis as Threat to Global Health was successfully organized by the Department of Veterinary Medicine, UVAS in collaboration with Vets Care Club. Prof. Dr. Aneela Zameer Durrani, Prof. Dr. Sagar S. Goyal, Prof. Dr. Yung fu Chang, Prof. Dr. Mamoona Chaudhry, Dr. Javed Iqbal, Dr. Yaseen Mozamel and Dr. Zahid Iqbal graced their presence and brought together a very informative session on different aspects of zoonotic diseases prevailing in the world. Efforts of Vets Care Club against zoonotic diseases particularly rabies were also highlighted in the session and were much appreciated.

Vets Care Club launched the “Birds Care Drive”, in UVAS City Campus. The event was done in collaboration with ALIF Foundation. Team VCC introduced this concept to enhance the beauty of the campus and help the birds and stray animals quench their thirst in this encroaching weather. Worthy Vice Chancellor, UVAS, Prof. Dr. Nasim Ahmad and patron of VCC Prof. Dr. Aneela Zameer Durrani, inaugurated the campaign, after which the team started installing the drinking pots around campus. The pots were installed on tree branches for the ease of the birds and are continuously refilled from time to time.
