UVAS holds review session on strategies to market UVAS degree programmes

LAHORE (30-07-24): Business School of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore (UVAS) arranged a review session on strategies to market UVAS degree programmes to attract more and more students to choose UVAS institution for admission in different undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes.

UVAS Vice-Chancellor Meritorious Prof Dr Muhammad Younus (DLA.I, T.I) presided over the session while Dean Faculty of Veterinary Science Prof Dr Aneela Zameer Durrani, Dean Faculty of Life Science Business Management Prof Dr Muhammad Azam, Dean Faculty of Animal Production & Technology Prof Dr Saima, Directors, Chairmans/Chairpersons and a number of faculty members from different campuses of UVAS were present.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof Dr Muhammad Younus urged faculty to launch marketing campaign of UVAS in befitting manners to attract more and more students from all over the country and he also stressed on the enhancing of number of students in UVAS all campuses. He said for the marketing & promotion of UVAS different degree programmes ownership and serious dedicated effort required from faculty.

Earlier, Chairman Department of Economics & Business Management Prof Dr Rana Muhammad Ayyub delivered an informative lecture to UVAS faculty regarding social media marketing strategies. He also highlighted various aspects related to digital media marketing, mobile apps, various strategies of promotion, digital marketing channels, online reviews, strategy pyramid, moment of truth,  promotional campaign, technology, training , team, sensitize technology, service dimensions and effective media marketing etc. He also recommended launching an interactive mobile app for UVAS. He said it is direly needed to marketing UVAS programme must be continuous activity throughout the year and allocate an appropriate annually budget for this purpose and hire a marketing firm for synchronized campaign etc.
