UVAS holds condolence reference for deceased alumni members

LAHORE (09-06-23): The University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore
organised a joint condolence reference in the memory of alumni members of UVAS who passed
away recently. The deceased UVAS alumni members were Dr Khawaja Arshaq Arslan Ramzee
& Dr Muhammad Zubair Khan.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Nasim Ahmad presided over the condolence reference while Former
UVAS Vice-Chancellors Prof Dr Manzoor Ahmad, Dr Abdul Kareem Bhatti, family members of
deceased alumni and a number of senior veterinarians/professionals from poultry industries and
faculty members were attended the reference physically and many through video link. They paid
rich tribute to both deceased alumni members of UVAS in a condolence reference held at City
Campus on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Dr Manzoor Ahmad said that UVAS set a great tradition that
after the death of its alumni members to arrange such condolence references to acknowledge
their outstanding professional services for the uplift of veterinary profession and poultry sector
as well. He also shared past memories with audience.
While addressing the condolence reference through video links Vice-Chancellor University of
Education Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha expressed deep sorrow and grief over the sad demises of
Dr AA Ramzee & Dr M Zubair Khan and sympathized with bereaved families.
Earlier, Prof Dr Nasim Ahmad spoke about the biography, professionally contributions and
philanthropist services of Dr AA Ramzee and Dr Abdul Kareem Bhatti spoke about the
biography and role of Dr Muhammad Zubair Khan as a veterinarian for the uplift of veterinary
profession while General Secretary of UVAS Alumni Association Prof Dr Kamran Ashraf as a
moderator paid rich tribute to both deceased UVAS alumni members.
