LAHORE (23-06-22): The Qiraat and Naat Society of Senior Tutor Office of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore arranged 5th All Pakistan Qiraat and Naat competitions here on Thursday at City Campus Lahore. Total 22 institutions from all over the Pakistan participated in these competitions.
Punjab University Lahore won the general trophy was the winner of this contest.
In Qiraat male contest, Hafiz Arslan (Punjab University Lahore)Â won 1st position, Hafiz Sumama (Punjab University Gujranwala) got 2nd while Hafiz Ali Akbar (Government Collage University Lahore) stood on 3rd position.
In Qiraat female contest, Faiza Rasool (Punjab University Lahore) won 1st position, Rida Khan (Government Collage University Lahore) got 2nd while Umme Aiman Wilayet (Agriculture University Faisalabad) stood on 3rd position.
In Naat male Contest, Muhammad Irfan (University of Central Punjab) won 1st position, Ali Nouman (UVAS) got 2nd while Khalid (King Edward Medical University) and Muhammad Awais (Punjab Medical Collage Faisalabad) both stood on 3rd position.
In Naat female Contest, Syeda Fatima (University of Central Punjab) won 1st position, Faiza Rasool (Punjab University) got 2nd position while Rida Farooq (Government Collage University Faisalabad) got 3rd position.
Later, Vice-Chancellor chaired the concluding ceremony of this competitions and distributed general trophy, shields and certificates among the winners of all contests while Renowned Naat Khuwan Akhter Hussain Qureshi, UVAS Principle Officer Student Affair Prof Dr Kamran Ashraf, Senior Tutor Prof Dr Ali Raza Awan, Prof Dr Yasin Tipu, Dr Shahzad Naveed Jadoon and a large number of students from different institutions from all over the Pakistan including UVAS were present on the occasion.
