LAHORE (10-05-24): The Department of Poultry Production of the University of Veterinary & Animal Science Lahore organized a two-days workshop on “Enhancing the Skills of Post-Graduate Students in Scientific Writing at Ravi Campus Pattoki.
Dean Faculty of Animal Production & Technology Prof Dr Saima presided over the concluding ceremony of workshop and distributed certificates among participants while Chairman Department of Poultry Production Dr Shahid Mehmood, Principal Officer Ravi Campus Prof Dr Arshad Javid, Dr Faisal Hasnain and number faculty members and students were present.
Workshop comprised of two technical session included lectures from renowned scientist on data presentation and measures of central tendency and dispersion, experimental designs, Planning and execution of the experimental trial, strategies for journal selection in academic publishing, collection and display of geographical information and its significance in the animal science. Various aspects have been discussed related to basics of effective manuscript writing, crafting comprehensive review articles and expertise in synopsis/thesis style specified by UVAS.
