UVAS arranged free treatment camp for sacrificial animals

LAHORE (28-06-24): The Department of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore in collaboration with private pharmaceutical company and Laboratory in connection with Eid-ul-Adha arranged 4th Eid-ul-Adha annual free treatment camp for sacrificial animals.

UVAS Vice-Chancellor Meritorious Prof Dr Muhammad Younus (DLA.I, T.I) along with Dean Faculty of Veterinary Science Prof Dr Aneela Zameer Durrani, Chairman Department of Veterinary Medicine Dr Muhammad Ijaz and Incharge Ourdoor Hospital Dr Jaweria Ali Khan inaugurated free Veterinary Medical Treatment Camp at City Campus Outdoor Hospital.

Total 832 small animals 780 (sheep, goat) and 52 large animals (cattle, camel) have been successfully treated with provided them free medication during camp. Stakeholders/owners of animals fully satisfied and lauded the treatment services of UVAS. Similar treatment camps were also arranged at other all campuses including Ravi Campus Pattoki, KBCMA-CVAS Narowal, CVAS-Jhang and PVI Layyah of UVAS.
