Biography

Nargis Ambreen is serving as Visiting Lecturer (Veterinary Medicine) at the Institute of Continuing Education and Extension, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS). She completed her DVM from Gomal University, Dera Ismail Khan and MPhil in Clinical Medicine from UVAS. Her research was focused on “Clinico-therapeutical trials against Endoparasite of Ostrich in Lahore”. Currently pursuing her PhD in the department of Veterinary Medicine, Her Research Interests Includes “Neglected Zoonotic Tick Borne Diseases of Animals”. She has worked in extension services with Nestle, serving farming communities, particularly females, on Livestock rearing and management. She has also served voluntarily for three years’ in 24/7 Extension services of UVAS. Along with it, she has worked with SAWIE Ltd.UK as content developer under the project “Sustainable, Agriculture, Water, and intelligent Environment” and developed extension material on Livestock challenges for the farming community. She has participated in various national and international workshops and trainings.
