B.Sc. (Hons.) Animal Husbandry (UAF), M.Sc. (Hons.) Poultry Husbandry (UAF), Diploma in IT. (02 Years) Network Engineering (Sydney- Australia), Certificate IV in Assessment and Work Place Training (06 Months)- Australia.


Mr. Shahid Javaid has around 30 years of versatile and dynamic experience in Poultry Production, Academic Curriculum Development, Marketing and Information Technology/ Business Teaching & Support. He is currently working as Assistant Professor in Department of Poultry Production, UVAS, Lahore.

Mr. Shahid has taught in Australian College of Technology, Sydney, Australia delivering/ teaching courses related to ‘Project Management’, IT and Business Management, in addition to working as IT Support & Administrator, in addition to achieving a Certificate Course Level IV as per Australian Curriculum- in Assessment and Work Place Training (Mandatory for teaching in Australia) with award of Competency in all courses. He has also taught courses in COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Islamabad. Earlier, he has also worked at Poultry Research Institute, Rawalpindi as Veterinary Officer (Health) for six years and Veterinary Officer (Department of L&DD) for around 03 years.

He also served Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) - Islamabad in an Open & Distance Learning (ODL) environment for 04 Yrs. (Deputation) with major assignments of Academic Curriculum Development- Planning/ Coordination/ Development of 02 Yrs. Poultry Assistant Diploma (ODL), Program Coordinator/ Support for MSc (Hons.) Livestock Management, & E. Learning @ Open Learning Institute of Virtual Education (OLIVE)- AIOU.
