Biography
Mr. Muhammad Yaseen is working as Lecture in the department of Theriogenology since January 2022. He earned his graduation as DVM (2018) and Master’s in the department of Theriogenology (2021) from the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore. The title of his master’s study was “Effect of age and parity on in-vitro development competence of OPU based Holstein Friesian oocytes under subtropical conditions.” He has specialties in reproductive ultrasonography, ovum pick-up (OPU) and embryo transfer in domestic animals. During his masters he also worked as Research Associate in TDF funded project “Establishing IVEP-center (In-Vitro Embryo Production Center) an entrepreneurial step toward self-sustainable dairy industry of Pakistan” for a period of two years. He is a member of Society for Animal Reproduction of Pakistan (SARP) and Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council (PVMC). His main responsibilities are teaching of undergraduate courses, clinical case handling, research and the extension services.
