Biography
Dr. Syed Muhammad Muneeb Anjum, is working as an Assistant Professor at Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (IPS), University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan. He got B.Pharmacy degree from The Islamia University Bahawalpur in 2001 and M.Phil in Pharmacology and Toxicology from University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore in 2011. In the meanwhile he earned his MS TQM degree from The University of Punjab in 2004. He won a HEC funded Foreign Scholarship in 2014 and flew to Germany in 2014 to pursue his PhD studies abroad. He completed his doctoral degree in October 2018 from University of Veterinary medicine, Hannover, Germany.
He started his professional career in Feb 2001 as Community Pharmacist and served at various key positions in renowned retail chain in Pakistan, Fazal Dins Pharma Plus, for 08 years till his joining at the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (IPS, UVAS) as Lecturer on 18-10-2008
His competencies include but are not limited to
- Expert in recording biological signals from small lab animals e.g. EEG and ECG. In vivo and in silico animal modeling
- Proficient user of PowerLab™ and LabChart ™ for research and analysis
- Good skills in handling lab animals like Mice, Rats, and Rabbits. EU certified lab animal researcher.
- Teaching and Training Undergraduate students how to handle lab animals during study of their Pharm.D Pharmacology curriculum
- Part of the team carrying out clinical trials for Bioequivalence and Pharmacokinetic studies.
- Teaching and research in Pharmacology, Physiology, Toxicology, Angiogenesis and pharmacy practice

- 29th May 2015 Toxicological Pathology mouse The seminar provided an overview to the background pathology of some strains of transgenic mice used for carcinogenesis bioassays (TG.AC, RasH2, p53 mice). There was an introduction to the most common pathological findings in transgenic mice (TG.AC, RasH2,p 53 mice). Following the introduction, there was an interactive microscope session with a demonstration of a variety of histopathological slides at a discussion microscope.
