Biography

Naeem Akram Malik is working as lecturer at the Institute of Continuing Education & Extension, University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences since 2010. He has got degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, in 2005 and later on obtained M. Phil degree in pathology from UVAS, Lahore in 2010. He worked as Technical Advisor in National Feeds Pvt. Ltd from 2005-2006. In 2006-2007 he joined the Livestock and Dairy Development Department, Government of Punjab as Veterinary Officer (Health). From 2008-2009 he worked in  UVAS  as Research Associate in the research project titled “Prevalence of Pathological Conditions Causing Skin Damage and Consequently Reducing its Market Value in Domestic Ruminants of Punjab, Pakistan” co-sponsored by HEC and the Tanners Association of Pakistan.

As Lecturer at ICE&E-UVAS he remain engaged in different teaching & extension activities organized by the department. He also remained involved in social mobilization and hands on trainings of different short courses like Artificial Insemination Technician, Community Livestock Extension Workers, Women Livestock Workers, Dairy Herd supervisors and Poultry Farm Managers sponsored by different governmental & non-governmental organization like NAVTTC, PSDF, NRSP, PRSP and FDO.  He contributed in research work in the field of pathology, microbiology and pharmacology with 04 publications.
