Irfan Irshad is specialist in livestock extension education with over 17 years’ experience in teaching, research, and providing trainings and extension services. He has secured “Indigenous HEC PhD Scholarship” and completed his PhD in Pathology from department of Pathology, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore. He has also done Master in Computer Sciences from University of the Punjab, Lahore. He has coordinated various trainings with different National funding organizations like NAVTTC, NRSP, PRSP, PSDF, and FDO etc.  He is serving as Associate Professor, at the Institute of Continuing Education & Extension, University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Lahore. He is also working with the Rural Development Research Group to generate new knowledge on effective interventions to manage change through research and development for poverty alleviation. He has been the part of different research teams and published 23 research articles in national and international journals in the areas of animal nutrition, Livestock production, dairy technology, pharmacology, epidemiology and veterinary pathology.
