Dr. Aman Ullah Khan is a Lecturer in the Department of Microbiology, CVAS, Jhang, UVAS, Lahore, and holds a Ph.D. from Freie University Berlin, Germany. He has 11 years of teaching and research experience. He has more than 30 research publication in highly ranked impact factor journals and wrote two book chapters. He started his job career as a Lecturer in 2011 from the Department of Medicine and Surgery, CVAS, Jhang. In 2012, he joined the Department of Microbiology, CVAS, Jhang. He is a former research scientist at Friedrich-Loeffler-Institut, Federal Research Institute for Animal Health, Jena, Germany under Merit Scholarship for High Technology by Islamic Development Bank, Saudi Arabia. He has worked in the OIE reference lab for Brucellosis at the Institute of Bacterial Infections and Zoonoses (IBIZ), Jena, Germany for more than 3 years. His future research goals are to establish high-tech diagnostic and typing methods for Brucella and other zoonotic bacterial pathogens, which will serve as the backbone to perform basic and applied research in the area of Microbiology and Public health especially focusing on zoonosis and their control. He has participated in more than 50 national and international conferences as organizer, presenter or invited speaker. He has produced two M.Phil students and currently supervising three postgraduate students.
