Qira’at & Naat Society

introduction

Qiraat and Naat society provides a platform for students to learn about the true spirit of Islam and to create a conscientious personality through Recitation and Naat e Rasool (S.A.W) so that they can distinguish between right and wrong with their quick judgment.

Objectives

  • To inculcate the love of the Recitation of Holy Quran and Naat e Rasool (S.A.W) in the students.
  • To provide a platform to hone the skills of Qiraat and Naat e Rasool (S.A.W) among the students by conducting workshops, Inter-Departmental Competitions and Intervarsity Qiraat & Naat competitions.
  • To organize various events for the moral training of students.
  • To provide a recognized mean of communication between students and the administration of the University.
  • To promote volunteering activities, with volunteers being involved with the society itself.
  • To promote equality of opportunities among students and challenge all forms of discrimination whether based on sex, age, race, ethnicity, disability, religion, cultural background or any other such status.
  • To carry on any other activities which may be advantageously carried on in connection with and which further any of its purposes.
