Public Awareness Campaigns by 4th & 5th Year Students of IPS

A public awareness campaign was held on the early detection, prevention, control and management of diseases, by the 4th & 5th year students of Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, UVAS. General public as well as patients were counseled for the prevention and early management of diseases. They were guided for the appropriate lifestyle modifications for the promotion of health and wellbeing of the society. Patients were also counseled for the appropriate use of medication and importance of drug adherence for the proper management of chronic diseases.  Brochures containing information on the disease control and management were also distributed to the general public. These campaigns were undertaken at public hospitals, various healthcare settings, pharmacies, educational institutes and public places. Such campaigns are also very valuable for the professional learning and development of pharmacy graduates.
