The Meat Department at UVAS actively participates in such events where scientific and educational exposure is equally beneficial for the participants. In such events, the exchange of views and offered facilities are shared with general public visitors from the industry.

An awareness session local and international food regulations and regulatory affairs was organized by the Department of Meat Science and Technology on 31st July 2021. The speaker of the session was Mr. Muhammad Usman Ghani, an expert on food regulations, audits and advisory for the food industry. The speaker delivered informative lecture regarding food laws and regulations.
